EDT’s Business and Enterprise advice service is aimed at individuals or groups who have a viable business idea or wish to become self-employed and need assistance in the mechanics of planning and setting up the business.

With the guidance of our business advisors, the individual or group will be able to establish whether their idea can be suitably translated into a commercial proposition and they will receive advice on Developing business plans, funding, administration, finance systems and marketing.

Please note: The Enterprise Hub support programme ended in June 2023 - however, in keeping with EDT's ethos of long term commitment to providing information, advice & guidance (IAG) to local communities, groups and individuals - anyone who enrolled before that date will continue to receive business support and advice from EDT's Business and Enterprise support services.

Enterprise Hub (EH) is a comprehensive entrepreneurship promotion and business support programme, which will foster the creation of new enterprises from pre start to early stage businesses. Providing assistance to 6360 potential-entrepreneurs and helping create 1272 new business ventures.

The Enterprise Hub will reach and provide high quality business brokerage and business support services to a diverse customer profile e.g. graduate, female and BME would be entrepreneurs; resulting in the creation of high value SMEs and social businesses across all sectors and providing a simplified route for customers to access the support when and how they need it.

The Enterprise Hub is a consortium of partner organisations of which EDT is one.

Business Mailbox Hire

EDT offer a mailbox service for small and medium businesses from only £20 per month.

We already offer a business start-up and advice service for individuals with viable business ideas - and for existing businesses looking to further develop their operations.

Mailbox clients will gain access to this business advice service which includes information and regular updates about possible grant funding and additional local and regional free services.

Our office is located on Great Homer Street, less than five minutes from Liverpool city centre - there’s always someone here during normal office hours so you can collect your mail at a time that is convenient for you


Why use a mailbox?

Our mailbox service will allow you to separate your home address from your business address and help to give your business a more professional image while maintaining your privacy..

All your business mail will be sent to your private mailbox address at the EDT office, meaning you’ll never miss the postman or an important delivery.

A fully secure, reliable and confidential service that will free up your time and help you to focus on what your business really needs.
