WETRA

LMH's Freerunner Digital Inclusion Project at WETRA (Westminster Tenants & Residents Association) involved installing ‘Mesh’ technology into housing blocks in order to boost the wifi signal – and distributing laptops and tablets amongst the residents - enabling them to access the internet free of charge.

EDT provided the training to the WETRA tenants to equip them with the online skills needed to get the most out of the technology. For many it was the first chance they'd had to fully explore the internet and email.

The video featured here gives an overview of the project - and an insight into what some of the residents involved gained from it.
