ITQ / ECDL

edt delivers the New ITQ
qualification in a simple, user friendly way. Students
complete a standard ECDL course - or a combination of
ECDL units (see ECDL info) - and then tackle a
scenario based exercise to show they can apply the
skills they have learned from their ECDL course. This
scenario covers the new mandatory unit of the ITQ -
Improving Productivity Using IT (ask in the centre for
details)
At edt we can deliver the New ITQ
at the level that suits your current IT
ability, ie; If you are a beginner you
could take a level 1 ITQ...If you
have good existing IT skills you
could take a level 2 ITQ...while those
with more advanced IT skills could enter at Level 3.
Whatever level you are currently at, your edt tutors will
work with you to help you maximise your skills.
What is ITQ?
ITQ has been designed by
employers to meet the needs of
today’s businesses. It is a
nationally recognised
programme that takes into
account all of your existing IT
skills. eg, you may already have
ECDL or CLAIT - these can
count towards the new ITQ
qualification. You can improve
your existing IT skills - identify
and fill any IT skills gaps in order
to use IT more effectively - and
demonstrate that you have
achieved a recognised national
standard of IT competence.
Advanced ECDL
edt delivers all four of the Advanced
ECDL modules as distance learning
packs with additional drop-in support
at a cost of £125.00 per module
We supply you with a learning pack
containing a comprehensive manual &
work files - four mock tests and as
much drop-in support as you feel you
need. When you are ready you take
your test at our Great Homer Street
Learning centre in Liverpool.
The £125.00 cost includes your
learning pack, mock tests, drop-in
support and the externally marked
BCS test but not re-testing - if you fail,
re-tests cost £25 each.
edt also offers testing only at £82.00
