However, if you enrolled before this date you are of course free to attend EDT to continue to benefit from EDT's information, advice & guidance (IAG) and complete your individual learning plan.

Available courses include:

ICDL (International Certification of Digital Literacy - formerly ECDL)

Having a great understanding of Microsoft Office will give you a massive advantage in the workplace – and with EDT’s Free Enterprise Hub Skills ICDL course (free for people who are currently in employment or self-employed and live within the Liverpool City Region) you can go from a complete beginner to a fully confident user of Microsoft Office applications ;
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
Advanced (Level 3 ) ICDL Courses also available


Beginners IT 

Do you need help applying for jobs online, sending emails and writing job applications?

Do you know how to create an effective CV - attach your CV to an email and upload your CV to employment websites and job agencies?

You can learn all of this and more on our Beginners IT course (Full Level 2 & Level 3 qualifications also available)


English & Maths

EDT offers training and testing for Functional Skills English and Maths.

Functional skills are the most practical skills you can develop to help you in life, in your studying and in the workplace

You can work toward a level 2 English qualification - a level 2 maths qualification, or both!

 To access Enterprise Hub Skills support you must be

    • Living in Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral, Liverpool, St Helens or Halton

 

    • Wanting to develop your enterprising skills, or looking for learning opportunities

 

  • Aged 18+

 


About Enterprise Hub Skills

Enterprise Hub Skills aims to simplify access to enterprise training and development building Liverpool City Region as a central hub for enterprise. Drawing together expert community organisations from across the region, Enterprise Hub Skills offers high quality learning and development opportunities to build the enterprise skills and economic pathways for individuals in the Liverpool City Region.

Through strategic engagement, the partnership will ensure that local residents, no matter what their background and circumstances, can access support to build and individual learning plan that supports enterprise development.

About the partnership

Enterprise Hub Skills is delivered through an innovative partnership approach, led and managed by The Women’s Organisation. Offering support to individuals in the Liverpool City Region are: Everton Development Trust; Granby Toxteth Development Trust; Liverpool John Moore University; Make Liverpool; Merseyside Expanding Horizons; Citizens Advice Halton; and RAISE Ltd.

The partnership has been carefully selected to ensure a high quality of service is delivered across diverse communities, particularly focusing on accessibility for BAME communities, those with a disability or long-term health condition and those with socio-economic barriers.
